Where
If my kitchen smells like cleaning fluids, where have I cooked?
If my shoes are always new and shinny, where have I traveled?
If my finger nails are perfectly manicured, where have I worked?
If my face has no wrinkles and hair not turned grey, how long have I lived?
If my living room does not appear lived in, then where do I live?
If my clothes are not worn looking then how have I moved about?
If my smile is perpetual then how can I express pain?
If my frown is forever worn, then how can I share joy?
In the garden I'll get dirty. On the fishing boat I'll smell fishy. On the roller
coaster I'll get a face that no one will ever see and when I sleep I'll always
look peaceful.
