Fives

Five sea birds skimming wave tops.
Five people on two jet skies.
Five breakers for every one rider.

For some reason everything came in fives.

Five baked clams on the appetizer dish.
Five people eating at the bar.
Five minutes and the gym will be closed

For some reason everything came in fives today.

Tomorrow is another day
and I highly doubt I’ll see things in fives,
or any other number for that matter.
Just a new day.
